Vicor to Showcase High Performance Power Components at PCIM Europe 2012

Vicor's Director of Systems Engineering Maurizio Salato to Present Paper on Power Factor Correction Control for Optimal Converter Operations

ANDOVER, MA--(Marketwire - May 2, 2012) - Vicor Corporation (NASDAQ: VICR) today announced its participation in the Power Conversion Intelligent Motion (PCIM) 2012 conference, the international conference on power electronics and its applications, hosted in Nuremberg, Germany, May 8-10, 2012. Vicor will highlight its full range of modular power components and innovative solutions for performance-critical applications at the event. Conference attendees can visit Vicor at booth #12-328 in the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre.

Maurizio Salato, Vicor's director of systems engineering, is slated to deliver a presentation from 3:30 to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 8, in Session PP50 (Converter and EMI II poster/dialogue session). Mr. Salato's presentation will address the synthesis of input line current in Power Factor Correction control for optimal converter operations.
