Victrix Receives $1 Million in Funding From the Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec and Desjardins

An investment that will help the company grow and further consolidate its offering

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 30, 2011) - Victrix, an integrated information technology services company, announces that it has obtained $1 million in funding through a partnership between the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins. Victrix is among 10 Quebec companies, chosen for their vitality and their promising future, to share a total investment of 12.25 million dollars.

These funds will allow Victrix to continue to implement its rigorous business plan and add to its product offering while maintaining strong growth. Several new products have already been added to Victrix's offering, including the "Virtual Board" solution, which is attracting strong interest. This tool allows organizations to plan, organize and run their board meetings remotely, in a completely secure environment.

"We are delighted with the interest and confidence the Caisse and Desjardins have shown by identifying Victrix as a thriving business that is contributing to Quebec's economic development," said Victrix President and COO Pierre-Yves Martel.
