Video Conferencing Leader BCS Global Acquires U.S.-Based Video Guidance to Boost Global Cloud Services

New Company Addresses Industry's Most Glaring Needs

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Dec 10, 2014) - London-based BCS Global Networks Ltd. today announced that it has acquired Video Guidance, one of America's premier video conferencing companies. The new company combines the sales and operations of two highly regarded leaders in visual communications, creating a formidable global enterprise that links BCS Global's capabilities in Europe, Canada and Asia with Video Guidance's in North America. Video Guidance will become a wholly owned subsidiary of BCS Global and will retain the respected Video Guidance name and brand in the U.S.

Michael Werch
Michael Werch is the president and CEO of Video Guidance, Inc. With over 20 years of industry experience, Werch has proven himself to be one of Minnesota's telecommunications leaders. He founded Video Guidance in 1999 and has been profitable every year since inception.

Werch has an impressive track record of delivering high quality products and motivating strong sales teams, all while developing respected customer relationships. During the company's five-year transition from hardware-centric services to a cloud-services model, Werch increased VG Connect Conferencing Service's revenues 56 percent. He also led the company's OneCall managed service renewal rating of 89 percent (more than double the industry average of 40 percent) and OneCall's revenue growth of 79 percent over the last five years. In addition, Werch oversaw Video Guidance's 2013 partner sales growth of 127 percent and 2013 net income growth of 115 percent.

Prior to founding Video Guidance, he was the national video conferencing sales director at Acoustic Communications, Inc., where he was responsible for the direction and leadership of the company's sales force. Werch also held top level sales and management positions for Norstan and Sprint.

Clive Sawkins
Clive Sawkins is the CEO of London-based BCS Global Networks, Ltd., a cloud-based video and collaboration solutions provider.
