VideoIQ Launches Online Certification Training Program
Self-Paced, Interactive Program Offers Channel Partners Comprehensive Training in the VideoIQ iCVR Family of Cameras and Encoders
| Source: VideoIQ
BEDFORD, MA--(Marketwire - October 5, 2009) - VideoIQ launched today VideoIQUniversity.com, its
online certification training program for the VideoIQ iCVR
family of products, the world's first and only intelligent surveillance
cameras and encoders with a built-in DVR. The VideoIQ online certification
training program guides VideoIQ channel partners through highly interactive
modules -- all of which combine to form a comprehensive overview of the
VideoIQ iCVR family of products. Students who successfully complete the
program will be designated a VideoIQ iCVR Certified Professional and
receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by national organizations,
including BICSI and NTS.
The VideoIQ online certification training program offers channel partners
step-by-step tutorials and demonstrations to help them understand how to
configure and enable key functions within the iCVR system. Among the
topics covered in the program are iCVR Benefits, Advanced Intelligence
Capabilities, Networking, iCVR Field of View Principals, Installation and
Setup, Installing and Using the VideoIQ View™ Software, and
Fine-tuning and Troubleshooting.
The VideoIQ iCVR is an intelligent video surveillance camera that combines
automated event detection, a built-in DVR and integrated video management
into a single solution -- all driven by next-generation analytics. This
powerful combination delivers real-time threat detection while solving the
bandwidth and storage problems of traditional IP cameras. As a result,
customers are using the iCVR as a "guard multiplier" to gain greater
protection with far fewer on-site guards, as well as for remote guarding in
which the iCVR serves as a "digital guard" watching over large and/or
multiple sites at one time.
"VideoIQ's rapid growth, fueled by high demand for the VideoIQ iCVR, has
driven a need for a training program to support our partners around the
world," said Gary Pfeiffer, vice president of sales for VideoIQ. "VideoIQ
is committed to ensuring that our partners have the proper education,
resources and training they need to be successful. We look forward to
building out this program with more modules in the future."
VideoIQ partnered with The CMOOR Group, a provider of online educational
software training and learning management software for businesses, on the
development of the VideoIQ certification program. For more information on
