Videotron: illico Adds Greek Channel 'ERTSAT' and German Channel 'Deutsche Welle' to Line-Up

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 14, 2005) - Videotron is pleased to announce that the Greek channel "ERTSAT" and the German channel "Deutsche Welle" are now available on illico Digital TV in the greater Montreal, Sorel, Gatineau and Rockland areas. The addition of the new services to the channel line-up diversifies and enriches illico's selection of foreign-language specialty channels.

ERTSAT offers a rich variety of programming in Greek, including its own productions and newscasts, dramatic series, sports and other content. It also carries content from four Greek national networks (NET, ET-1, ET-3 and RIC).

Deutsche Welle carries a wide spectrum of content ranging from international to cultural programming, including magazine programs, documentaries and newscasts. It broadcasts directly from Europe in three languages: English, German and Spanish.

NEW SERVICES UNSCRAMBLED UNTIL NOVEMBER 13, 2005

To give members of the Greek and German communities as well as all illico customers a taste of the diverse, high-quality programming carried by ERTSAT and Deutsche Welle, Videotron is unscrambling the new services until November 13, 2005. They are available on channels 256 and 257 respectively.
