VidSys Will Demonstrate and Exhibit at Intersec, Dubai

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES--(Marketwired - Dec 10, 2014) - VidSys, a leading global provider of Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, will be exhibiting and demonstrating its 7.7 version at Intersec Dubai January 18-20, 2015, at Stand S1-A50.

PSIM started as an integration platform for operation centers to improve situational awareness using physical security sensors and data. It is now rapidly evolving to encompass other data sources, including building management, radars/sonars, asset tracking, social media and IT security and management systems.

VidSys PSIM is a scalable, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solution. Implementing PSIM software often results in a strong return on investment. Savings realized include staffing efficiencies, reduction of false alarms and improved compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Phil Stockham, Director of Operations EMEA, said, "VidSys has worked in the UAE for five years and recently established its regional headquarters in Dubai. As part of our dedication to the Middle East Region, we now have staff in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar.

"VidSys has regional references in Safe City, Petro-Chemical, Enterprise, Government and Industrial sectors, as well as recent wins in Retail, Hospitality and Law Enforcement. Intersec will provide an excellent platform for us to demonstrate our PSIM software and we look forward to sharing insights on our many regional installations."

In 2014 VidSys has expanded business in the US, Central and South America, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific region. Its latest 7.7 software release meets key U.S. federal information assurance standards, including compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), which is being transitioned to a broader risk management framework as outlined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The software can incorporate 3D modeling capability, which is unique to VidSys and becoming more popular especially in the Middle East.
