The Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness and Member of Parliament (Lévis-Bellechasse), today announced $14,850 in funding for the 9th Festival Jazz etcetera Lévis. Minister Blaney made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
This funding, provided under the Local Festivals component of the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program, will offer a wide variety of performances and street entertainment and let visitors enjoy jazz in all its diverse forms.

- The 9th Festival Jazz etcetera Lévis, which is taking place from August 6 to 9, 2015, will present 30 free outdoor shows in the streets of Vieux-Lévis.
- The 2015 lineup will include musical entertainment on the Lévis-Québec City ferries, the Ôm Yoga & Jazz gathering at the Lévis Terrace park/lookout, the Jazzed Up Mass at Église Notre-Dame de Lévis and an indoor performance at L'Anglicane.
- The four-day festival attracts close to 55,000 visitors a year.
- In its nine years of existence, the Festival Jazz etcetera Lévis has presented around 280 free outdoor shows featuring nearly 1,150 artists.
