View 2014 Sales Already Surpasses 2013 Totals

BALTIMORE, MD--(Marketwired - Jul 8, 2014) - View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VSYM), a Baltimore manufacturer and leading provider of integrated weapons detection systems, reports that second quarter results show that View sales in the first six months of 2014 already exceed the total sales volume for all of 2013. Three factors appear to be driving the sales surge -- 1) innovative management sales initiatives, 2) entrance into the emerging Marijuana Dispensary security market, and 3) long term government sales efforts that have been brought to successful conclusions. These initiatives have combined to spark a sales increase of View System's View Scan weapons detection system.

A decision to undertake a series of distribution, sales representative and dealer agreements was enacted by View Systems in February. A series of sale representation and distribution agreements that covered all 50 States, the Caribbean Islands, Mexico and portions of Central America was established in the first quarter of 2014. View Systems had signed six (6) sales representation agreements and capped this achievement with an international sales/distribution agreement with ADI/Honeywell, extending View's marketing reach to the global community.

In April of this year, View Systems undertook a strategic marketing approach in partnership with HEMP, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HEMP), which led the company into pursuit of security sales to Marijuana retail dispensaries and grow operations in Colorado and Washington. View added a former ATF agent as special sales representative to address this market in Colorado. As a result, View's first Dispensary installation has been scheduled. View notes -- "The House of Representatives have now intervened to redirect Federal drug enforcement efforts away from States that have allowed liberalized approaches to Marijuana distribution. This will not only help to curtail aggressive Federal enforcement, but it legitimizes the existence and security of the Marijuana Dispensary movement at large." View expects continued healthy growth from the Marijuana dispensary market. Currently there are over 100 Medical Marijuana registered vendors and over 250 medical licensed retail Marijuana Stores, as of June 3, 2014, according to Colorado Department of Revenue Marijuana Enforcement Division (http://www.colorado.gov/cs/Satellite/Rev-MMJ/CBON/1251592985115). The numbers reflect State licensure only; businesses may still be awaiting local authority approval. A year ago before the enactment of the Colorado state law legalizing Marijuana there were a reported 2000 dispensaries nationwide.  (USA Today, http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2013/04/07/medical-marijuana-industry-growing-billion-dollar-business/2018759/)

View Systems Vice President William Gaskill credits the increase in sales to long-term sales efforts as well as the emerging sales representation agreements. "New market procurement processes take time and effort," Mr. Gaskill reported to the Board of Advisors. "The level of activity and interest that the Marijuana dispensary market and our new partners are generating astounds us."
