View Systems Announces Ongoing SecureScan Contracts From California

BALTIMORE, MD -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 27, 2006 -- View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VYST), a leading homeland defense solutions provider, announced today that additional SecureScan purchase orders have been received from the San Diego Probations Department and the Alameda Probations Department for a total of 10 (ten) units. The SecureScan purchased by the Alameda Probations Department was acquired for the Juvenile Justice Center. These orders make 21 units delivered year to date to California.

View Systems' West Coast Representative, Craig Boyd, states, "The distinguished SecureScan CWD has brought View Systems success yet again. Each time I present the system to prospective clients they revel in the multitude of functions that the unit offers. The distinctive archiving capability which allows a photo of a subject walking through to be saved for later reference always seems to make a huge impact. The San Diego Probations Department was referred by a Congressman's office, and Alameda Probations Department was referred by the Los Angeles Probations Department. I am pleased that orders continue to pour in from the state of California and that View is developing a positive repertoire with several agencies."

SecureScan is fast becoming the choice of concealed weapons detection systems across the country. Especially attractive are the biometric fingerprint scanning and state issued ID reading features which may be integrated with the SecureScan III. Additionally, the SecureScan can communicate with a wanted/outstanding warrant database. The SecureScan's open system architecture allows its data and video to be monitored and controlled remotely. Optionally a visitor's badge can printed and tracked for time in and out of a facility or building.

View Systems' CEO, Gunther Than, states, "According to their website, the County of San Diego's Probation Department has a $150 million budget (http://www.sdcounty.ca.gov/probation/aboutus.html). There are 58 counties and sheriffs' offices in California, and over 400 police departments and police stations. I know that contracts will continue to come in from even more California law enforcement agencies. We have been quoting multi-unit orders and I have verbal confirmations of further orders in excess of our current sales to this region. California will be our leader in deliveries for '07."
