View Systems Joint Ventures With Hemp, Inc. to Protect Marijuana Dispensary Outlets

BALTIMORE, MD--(Marketwired - May 28, 2014) - View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VSYM), a leading Baltimore-based manufacturer and provider of integrated weapons detection systems, today announced the signing of an agreement with Hemp, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HEMP), whereby Hemp will provide product distribution, professional sales and marketing services, and sales representation services for the View-Scan product line to the rapidly growing Marijuana dispensary market that has swept through Colorado, Washington state, California, Arizona and Nevada, to name a few.

"View Systems manufactures the leading mid-priced, video-capture, pedestrian entry weapons detection system that is known for its reliability, accuracy and ease of use," Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: HEMP) said. "Most people don't understand that this is a cash business and many of the business methodologies are still being developed -- but anytime you have cash walking in and out of a public storefront, you have a primary, A-1 target for crime. The View Scan System, with detection and remote view recording is precisely what this business ordered -- and none too soon."

NBC News reported, "Everyone in the industry is having nightmares," says Michael Elliott, executive director of the Marijuana Industry Group, a powerful young lobby in Colorado. "You hit a 7-Eleven, you'll get 20 bucks. You hit a dispensary, you'll get $300,000 on a good day," adds Mitch Morrissey, District Attorney for Denver. "It's only a matter of time before someone gets shot."

Hemp, Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary, The Industrial Hemp and Medical Marijuana Consulting Company, Inc. (IHMMCC) will undertake to sell and distribute the View-Scan technology units in the Colorado and Washington State markets. The agreement initially earmarks 480 View-Scan units to Hemp, Inc. for sales and distribution efforts in the Colorado, Washington, California, Arizona, and Nevada dispensary markets, which are growing at a blistering pace.

This represents the sixth sales and/or distribution agreement that View has inked this year in a push to make certain that the View-Scan product line is available from coast to coast. However, this is the first such agreement that directly targets the ballooning marijuana dispensary market in any capacity. It is also the first such agreement that sets aside a set number of View-Scan units to meet the surging demand for continuous business operations protection. "View Systems combines the demand for a superior level of protection at an affordable price and convenient ease of use," said Gunther Than, CEO of View System, Inc. "We look forward to working with Hemp, Inc. and we respect their knowledge and grasp of this emerging market."
