View Systems Receives Additional SecureScan Purchase Orders From Maryland Correctional Institutions

BALTIMORE, MD -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 13, 2006 -- View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VYST), a leading homeland defense solutions provider, announced today that purchase orders for SecureScan II units have been received from three Maryland correctional institutions: Maryland Correctional Institution in Hagerstown, Maryland Correctional Training Center, and Roxbury Correctional Institution.

Funded by the Department of Justice, SecureScan II's non-contact imaging capabilities reduce the need for wanding and pat-down searches. While ignoring common items like coins, watches, and jewelry, the SecureScan II is sensitive enough to locate and pinpoint hidden razor blades and cell phones on its video image, which are crucial in correctional facility searches.

View Systems executive, Charles Nelson, states, "We are exceedingly pleased with Maryland's reception of the SecureScan. We're integrating biometric and state identification recognition and are looking forward to wider distribution in Maryland."

View Systems CEO, Gunther Than, states, "There are 35 correctional facilities in Maryland. We feel that these initial install locations are a good indication of the ongoing business in the state."
