View Systems Receives SecureScan Purchase Order From California Police Department

BALTIMORE, MD -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 14, 2006 -- View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VYST), a leading homeland defense solutions provider, announced today that a purchase order for two SecureScan II units has been received on behalf of the Fullerton Police Department in Fullerton, California.

Funded by the Department of Justice, the SecureScan II's non-contact imaging capabilities reduce the need for wanding and pat-down searches. While ignoring common items like coins, watches, and jewelry, the SecureScan II is sensitive enough to locate and pinpoint hidden razor blades on its video image.

View Systems' West Coast Representative, Craig Boyd, states, "We are pleased with the continuing purchase orders coming in from the state of California. Since these units will be placed in Orange County, the county seat of California, more attention will be drawn to the technology."

View Systems CEO, Gunther Than, states, "There are 58 counties and sheriffs' offices in California and over 400 police departments and police stations. I think California will be a terrific market for View Systems."
