View Systems Homeland Defense Products Manager Dave Johansen, states, "This month, we introduced the VFRM2 for the first time at the TREXPO. The VFR was presented to over 200 decision makers including Sheriffs and tactical officers. I am greatly satisfied with the response we are getting on this new product. The VFRM2 builds on the already proven and successful VFR technology and allows for 'hands-free' operation and multiple video sources. Now, any tactical officer can wear the VFRM2 on a mission, capture steady, clear video, and transmit it to commanders in real time. They will also have the ability to incorporate thermal imaging, and a helmet mounted monocle. We will continue to offer and improve the finest live, encrypted, wireless video system available."

The VFR was selected by R&D Magazine as one of the 100 Most Technologically Significant New Products of the Year. It is a lightweight wireless video camera system that is taken to incident scenes by emergency first responders to deliver clear, secure video of the situation at hand. VFR enables commanders to witness frontline activity "live." According to www.avem.org, R&D Magazine is a news-oriented publication that reaches more than 90,000 scientists and engineers. The publication "reports and analyzes leading-edge scientific and technological discoveries that drive product and process development across all industries (www.avem.org)."
