Villanova University Extends Partnership With Paciolan

University Will Continue to Leverage Core Ticketing Solution and Adopt Digital Ticketing

IRVINE, CA and VILLANOVA, PA--(Marketwired - May 6, 2014) - Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, marketing, fundraising and sales automation solutions in college athletics, today announced that Villanova University (Villanova) has renewed its partnership with the company. Villanova will continue to leverage Paciolan's best-of-breed online ticketing solution and implement the company's Access Management system. Villanova has been working with Paciolan since 2006. Paciolan is a subsidiary of the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm Comcast-Spectacor.

"We are pleased to extend our partnership with Paciolan and continue to leverage the company's exceptional services, solutions and support," said Vince Nicastro, Director of Athletics at Villanova University. "We are committed to deliver leading technology and innovative ticketing solutions that help us enhance the fan and season ticket holder experience."

Villanova will continue to utilize Paciolan's online ticketing solution through its branded and integrated eCommerce website at Villanova.com. This website enables Villanova athletics to efficiently sell tickets through the 'Pick Your Own Seat' map feature, offers a secure purchasing environment, and enables Wildcat fans to manage individual accounts online.

With the partnership renewal, Villanova will implement Paciolan's Access scanning and digital ticketing solution to enhance the fan experience at Villanova Stadium, The Pavilion Arena, and also Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa. Villanova hosts some of its men's basketball games each year at Wells Fargo Center, where Paciolan's parent company, Comcast-Spectacor, is based.

The Access scanning solution allows fans the ability to print tickets at home and bypass will call lines for a seamless game-day experience. Digital Ticketing will also provide Villanova fans with the option of mobile delivery and to scan their tickets at events via their mobile devices. Additionally, the Access technology will enable staff to track real-time attendance data and validate tickets at each entrance to university venues, while also preventing fraudulent tickets.

"Paciolan provides us with the leading ticketing platform in college athletics and will enable us to launch digital and mobile ticketing," said Bob Steitz, Senior Associate Athletics Director, External Operations at Villanova University. "We are excited to launch mobile ticketing for next season and offer new ticket scanning methods for our fans to use at football, basketball and lacrosse events."

"We are thrilled to continue our wonderful partnership with Villanova University and provide them with the best-of-breed ticketing solutions," said Jane Kleinberger, Founder of Paciolan. "We are eager to help implement new technologies to create seamless processes that help enhance and manage the fan experience."
