Villas-Boas Appointment Improves Chelsea's Title Odds Say Sky Bet

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - June 22, 2011) -Online betting specialist Sky Bet makes Chelsea a 5/2 shot to win the Premier League after confirming the appointment of Andres Villas-Boas as manager.

The Portuguese boss follows fellow country Jose Mourinho from Porto to Stamford Bridge and his side are second favourites to replicate Mourinho's first year in west London and pick up the league title.

The Blues are 14/1 to complete the Premier League and FA Cup double, and 8/1 to win the Champions League.

A trophyless year at Stamford Bridge can be backed at evens, while they are 8/11 to win any trophy next season. The 33-year-old is also 4/1 to pick up the manager of the month award for August when the Premier League season gets underway.

Porto's top marksman Falcao is 3/1 to follow Villas-Boas to west London and sign for Chelsea before the end of the transfer window.

The online betting specialist also make the new Porto chief, Vitor Pereira, 16/1 to be the next Chelsea boss and follow a tradition of Porto managers departing for Stamford Bridge.
