Vince Jones, Veteran e-Commerce and Internet Services Leader, to Lead eBags

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - February 11, 2009) - Greenwood Village-based eBags (www.eBags.com) announced that Vince Jones has been appointed the new chief executive officer and has joined the company's board of directors.

"eBags is the leading online bag retailer and its creative drop ship model positions it to gain market share and deliver profitable growth during this challenging economic environment," said Jones. "I am impressed with the company's history of success and excited to lead this next phase of growth."

Jones joins eBags from Sharpcast (www.sharpcast.com), where he served as Vice President of Operations and Finance, leading all business operations for the maker of the award-winning SugarSync online back-up and storage, syncing and file sharing service.

Prior to Sharpcast, Jones was a member of the Walmart.com launch team and as a Senior Director helped build the company into a leading e-commerce business. Previously he held operations and finance roles at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Texas Instruments.

"I am excited to have Vince as my successor. His start up experience with Sharpcast coupled with his rapid growth experience at Walmart.com -- both Silicon Valley-based, web-centric companies -- brings a world-class internet veteran to this key leadership position in Denver," said Jon Nordmark, co-founder, former CEO and eBags board member.

Added Bob Kagle, General Partner at Benchmark Capital and eBags board member, "We are thrilled to have Vince on the eBags team. The board is confident in his ability to increase profitability, gain market share and take eBags to the next level."

Jones received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS from the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas where he was named The Outstanding Graduating Senior.
