Vindicia Names Charles Breed Vice President of Business and Corporate Development

BELMONT, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 25, 2011) - Vindicia, a leading provider of SaaS billing solutions that help digital leaders optimize customer retention and acquisition through integrated marketing best practices, today announced that Charles Breed has joined the company as vice president of business and corporate development. Breed brings to the role more than 20 years of experience in creating revenue growth and driving market expansion, including via mergers and acquisitions. He will report to Gene Hoffman, Chairman and CEO of Vindicia.

Prior to joining Vindicia, Breed was with SAP, where he served as vice president of corporate development and global licensing. In this role he was responsible for strategic transactions to enable new products that would grow revenue via technology partnerships. Before SAP he served as Symantec's senior director of business development and M&A. He has also held various technical and marketing positions at PGP (now Symantec), Hewlett-Packard and Cisco.

"Charles' experience and skill sets are an excellent match for our vision and strategy," said Vindicia Chairman and CEO Gene Hoffman. "In particular, his experience in partnerships and building successful indirect channels will be invaluable as we accelerate our penetration in key segments like software, gaming, dating and digital media/content."

"I had the opportunity to work with Vindicia early on, to witness their vision long before the reality that their leadership is today, and I'm excited to be a part of the team and to help facilitate the company's next stage of growth," said Breed.
