Vindicia to Participate in The Guardian's Changing Media Summit

CEO Gene Hoffman and SVP Sanjay Sarathy to Address Exploding Digital Marketplace and Share Insights on What It Takes to Stay on Top

LONDON and BELMONT, CA--(Marketwire - March 22, 2011) - The digital economy is set to double in size over five years, according to Vindicia, who will participate in The Guardian's Changing Media Summit to be held later this week, March 23-24 in London. The company's participation coincides with Vindicia's new U.K. office and European head Adrian Jenkins, announced yesterday.

Joining executives from MTV networks, Warner Bros. and YouView, Chairman and CEO Gene Hoffman will discuss the creative and commercial opportunities opening up around next generation video content and connected TV. He will present an optimistic forecast, underlined by the success of clients including gaming publishers MindCandy, Atari/Cryptic and Activision Blizzard; broadcast innovators like Boxee and Vimeo; and digital media companies including Bloomberg and Next Issue Media, a consortium of Conde Nast, Hearst, Time Inc. and News Corporation.

"We're looking forward to a digital market explosion," said Hoffman. "We see numbers predicting global digital revenues will double from $50 billion last year to $100 billion by 2015. By 2014, 33% of global entertainment and media spending will be digital. In our own business we have seen $50 million in increased revenue for Vindicia clients over the last year alone, through improved customer retention and acquisition."

Also presenting is Vindicia's Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sanjay Sarathy. Sarathy joins the summit panel on next generation gaming, along with Keith Stuart, The Guardian's games correspondent, and the execs from We R Interactive, NaturalMotion and Playmetrix.
