Vineyard Bank Announces Manjit Dhillon as Managing Director

CORONA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 8, 2007 -- Vineyard National Bancorp (NASDAQ: VNBC) and Vineyard Bank, N.A. ("Vineyard") announced today that Manjit Dhillon has joined Vineyard as managing director for its Marin County office. Dhillon brings more than 25 years of diversified banking experience with him, most recently as the senior vice president and regional manager of Commercial Capital Bank's San Mateo County market.

Dhillon is well established in the Marin County market and regarded for his expertise in developing and designing customized financial service programs for high net-worth individuals and business clients. Dhillon is particularly versed in working with tax deferred 1031 Exchange companies, property management and technology companies. Dhillon will continue this focus by working directly with clients while actively supporting Vineyard's strategic goals and commercial banking initiatives to expand its footprint in the Northern California market.
