YORKVILLE, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 9, 2014) - A large collection of vintage cars will visit Meyda Tiffany Lighting, as a part of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America's "Early Six-Cylinder Tour" (featuring cars from 1929-1954), today at 2 PM. The club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of all years of Chevrolets. Meyda Tiffany Lighting is a leading manufacturer and designer of custom lighting, stained glass Tiffanies, and décor located at 55 Oriskany Boulevard in Yorkville, New York.
The Vintage Chevrolet Club of America (VCCA) will tour the Meyda Tiffany Lighting manufacturing facility at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9th. All 62 cars will be on display in the Meyda parking lot until 4 p.m.
The Central New York-Erie Canal Region Director of the VCCA John Palmer, stated, "We originally drove older cars from the 1930's when our tours first began. Later on, most of us purchased newer 'vintage cars,' mostly from the 50's, because they are easier to travel in."

Most of the tour participants drive their vehicles to the tour site. Some of the Six-Cylinder Tour participants, known for their vehicles' Chevy six-cylinder motor, will be driving their vintage cars to the site from distances from as far as Illinois, Michigan and Virginia.
In addition, the Chevy Car Club of America will be visiting Alan Rosenblum's Private Vintage and Rare Car Collection in Utica.
