Alexandria, VA-Based VIPdesk Named to Inc. 5000 for 2nd Consecutive Year

ALEXANDRIA, VA--(Marketwire - September 17, 2008) - VIPdesk, the pioneer of home-based call centers and concierge services, was ranked No. 3,759 on the Inc. annual ranking of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the country. This is the second consecutive year in which VIPdesk has been named to the Inc. 5000; the company was previously named to the Inc. 500 in both 2003 and 2004. The Inc. 5000 list is the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy -- America's independent-minded entrepreneurs. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy.

"We are very proud of VIPdesk's growth year-over-year, proof positive that home-based customer care is very hot in many industries," said Mary Naylor, CEO of VIPdesk. "We are looking forward to continued growth throughout the rest of 2008 and into 2009 as home-based call centers continue to prove results superior to traditional brick-and-mortar call centers."

"Our second annual Inc. 5000 continues the most ambitious project in business journalism," said Inc. 5000 Project Manager Jim Melloan. "The Inc. 5000 gives an unrivalled portrait of young, underreported companies across all industries doing fascinating things with cutting-edge business models, as well as older companies that are still showing impressive growth."

The 5000 companies that made the list reported aggregate revenue of $185 billion and median three-year growth of 147 percent. Most important, the 2008 Inc. 5000 companies were engines of job growth, having created more than 826,033 jobs since those companies were founded.
