VIQ Commences National Rollout of UK Digital Recording Implementation

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 30, 2011) - VIQ Solutions Inc. ("VIQ", "VIQ Solutions" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:VQS) is pleased to announce that the Corporation will commence the national rollout of the digital recording software and services project in the United Kingdom previously announced in April 2009.

The national rollout consists of the implementation of VIQ's digital audio recording and management solution for 536 installations in the United Kingdom. Consisting of software, hardware and associated services, this phase of the project is estimated to generate £1.5 million in revenue for VIQ, including approximately £340,000 of service revenue that will be billed over the implementation period.

The rollout is scheduled to commence in June of 2011 and will take approximately twelve months to complete. VIQ's Commercial off the Shelf ("COTS") enterprise-level Encompass Server and Workstation solutions will be installed in 96 locations.

The project initially called for VIQ to provide a complete digital audio recording and management solution for approximately 653 fixed and portable installations across the United Kingdom. The early stage implementation phase of the project consisted of 118 installations and was completed in the first quarter of 2010.
