VIQ Dataworxs Wins New Medical Capture and Transcription Workflow Contract with Cardiac Surgery Associates

("VIQ", "VIQ Solutions" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:VQS) is pleased to announce that VIQ Dataworxs, through reseller Voice Automation Inc., has been awarded a new digital medical dictation and transcription project with Cardiac Surgery Associates, SC, in Downer's Grove, Illinois.

With 34 physicians and 24 locations, Cardiac Surgery Associates offers comprehensive medical care for an array of cardiac, lung and vascular diseases in the early and advanced stages. Cardiac Surgery Associates brings together a wide range of medical experts to meet the unique clinical needs of each patient, relying on the latest technology advances to create a personalized plan of care.

Cardiac Surgery Associates selected the VIQ Audioworxs capture and transcription workflow management system to manage their growing dictation and transcription needs. Audioworxs allows Cardiac Surgery Associates doctors to dictate their patient encounters using their phone system, with multiple doctors able to dictate simultaneously. The audio is then automatically and securely routed to the cloud-based Dataworxs Distribution Server, where the audio files can be accessed by the customer's onsite or offsite transcriptionists using the Audioworxs Player. The entire dictation and transcription process is completely compliant with HIPAA security and privacy protocols.

Multiple doctors at Cardiac Surgery Associates are also using the VIQ Dataworxs MobileMic app to capture their dictation. The audio is automatically and securely routed to the Dataworxs Distribution Server, a cloud-based service that seamlessly integrates with the customer's Audioworxs transcription workflow management system. MobileMic is supported on iPhone, Android and BlackBerry smartphones and tablets.

The solution was sold and supported by Dataworxs reseller Voice Automation Inc. of Chicago.
