VIQ Solutions Announces New Spark & Cannon Wins in Western Australia, New South Wales

("VIQ", "VIQ Solutions" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:VQS) is pleased to announce that Spark & Cannon, VIQ's Australia-based reporting and transcription services and technology distributor, has been awarded two new transcription contracts in Western Australia and New South Wales.

Spark & Cannon has been awarded a transcription contract by WorkCover Western Australia for a period of 12 months with a further option available for a further 12-month period, potentially taking the contract to 2018.

WorkCover Western Australia is the government agency responsible for managing the workers' compensation and injury management scheme in the state of Western Australia. The organization provides strategic advice, manages compliance and has educational responsibilities. More than 21,000 requests for advice are managed each year.

Most relevantly to this contract the organization provides an independent dispute resolution service for workers' compensation disputes.

The Company also announced that Spark & Cannon has been awarded a non-exclusive contract by the State Insurance Regulatory Authority ("SIRA") for the provision of transcription services to both SafeWork NSW and the NSW Workers Compensation Commission.

The contract is for a period of three years with an option available to extend for a further period of 12 months.

SafeWork NSW are the workplace and safety regulator responsible for providing advice on improving work health and safety, providing licenses and registration for potentially dangerous work and investigating workplace incidents and enforcing work health and safety laws in NSW. The Workers Compensation Commission is an independent statutory tribunal responsible for resolving workers' compensation disputes between injured employees and employers.
