VIQ Solutions Appoints New Directors

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 20, 2014) - VIQ Solutions Inc. ("VIQ Solutions" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:VQS) is pleased to announce that Harvey Gordon and Larry Taylor have been elected as new directors to the Board of Directors (the "Board") at the Corporation's 2014 Annual and Special Meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") held in Toronto on June 19, 2014. The Board now consists of: David Outhwaite, George Kempff, Harvey Gordon and Larry Taylor. John Haag and John McLeod did not stand for re-election at the Meeting.

Harvey Gordon is a technology industry executive having previously held key senior positions with several industry leading software and service firms. During his career, he has implemented successful growth strategies through direct sales staff, partnerships, reseller channels, joint ventures and acquisitions. Mr. Gordon attended the University of Toronto, where he received a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science.

Larry Taylor is a seasoned executive with a strong track record of leadership experience and helping companies to transform their organizations. Mr. Taylor has been successful in working with private equity firms to identify, acquire and combine companies to create shareholder value. Mr. Taylor is a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Management Consultant.
