VIQ Solutions' Subsidiary Awarded Contract by Fair Work Australia

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 16, 2009) - VIQ Solutions Inc. ("VIQ", "VIQ Solutions" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:VQS) announced today that Spark & Cannon Australasia Pty Limited ("Spark & Cannon"), the Corporation's wholly-owned Australian subsidiary, has been awarded a contract by Fair Work Australia, the Australian workplace relations tribunal, for the provision of digital recording and transcription services.

The contract has a term of three years with two options to extend for an additional year each. The contract's estimated value to Spark & Cannon is AUS $2.5 million over the three year term based on the historical workflow supplied by Fair Work Australia. The contract, which commences in January 2010, calls for Spark & Cannon to provide a digital audio recording solution and ongoing recording and transcription services for 44 courtrooms throughout Australia.
