Virgin Technologies Set to Release New 1U Controller at SATCON, New York

EDMONTON, AB--(Marketwired - October 27, 2014) - Virgin Technologies Inc. will be attending this year's SATCON Expo in New York (booth 515), New York, November 12-13, 2014.

Virgin Technologies has created the industry's only vertical axis auto-aiming antenna system -- the VR9L. At SATCON, Virgin Technologies will also be launching its new VR 1U controller, which works independent of any satellite modem providing quick and reliable satellite acquisition, all with the simple push of a button. "Based on the great interest in our products last year, we are confident that VSAT re-sellers are going to be excited to introduce our product into their mix, giving their customers exciting new options to the satellite news gathering and broadcast marketplace," notes Virgin Technologies President Robert Smibert.

The system can be easily mounted on the roof of any vehicle for robust broadband access to any teleport in the world. Its unique lift effortlessly provides 14" of vertical clearance through 380 degrees, clearing roof obstructions that other systems simply cannot.
