Virginia Secretary of Technology Announces Partnership With e.Republic for COVITS 2008

SACRAMENTO, CA--(Marketwire - March 11, 2008) - Virginia Secretary of Technology, Aneesh
Chopra, announced details for the Commonwealth's 10th annual IT Symposium,
COVITS. This year's conference, "Delivering on the Promise," will be held
in Williamsburg, Va September 7-9th. COVITS is the premier forum for
Virginia's public and private sector IT leaders to exchange ideas on the
role of technology in simplifying government operations. To strengthen the
quality of the COVITS program, Secretary Chopra also announced a
partnership with e.Republic, Inc., Government Technology magazine and the
Center for Digital Government, divisions of e.Republic.
The 600+person conference is hosted by Virginia's Secretary of Technology,
on behalf of Governor Tim Kaine. Mr. Chopra said, "Our partnership (with
Government Technology magazine and the Center for Digital Government) will
enhance the COVITS experience by incorporating one of the nation's thought
leaders in digital government trends, conference planning and organization.
