Virginia's JAUNT Partners With RouteMatch Software for Advanced ITS Technologies and Mobile Data Management for Demand Response Services

End-to-End Platform Brings Flexibility for Future Growth and Innovation

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA and ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Nov 4, 2013) - RouteMatch Software, a leader in providing passenger transportation technologies and mobility management solutions, is providing JAUNT with a complete intelligent transportation platform to power JAUNT's demand response operations.

JAUNT performs 300,000 trips per year and runs 75 demand response vehicles covering Charlottesville, Albemarle, Fluvanna, Louisa, Nelson, and Buckingham counties. In addition to utilizing RouteMatch's advanced scheduling, routing, dispatching, and reporting technologies, JAUNT's drivers and dispatchers will also be using RouteMatch's Mobile Data Management Platform, RMMobile™, and tablet mobile data devices for automated vehicle location, enhanced driver dispatch communications, and electronic manifests. RMMobile will allow JAUNT to take advantage of the Android operating platform and array of value-added functionalities modules such as pre and post vehicle trip inspection, and as a base for developing other extended applications for payroll and driver time-keeping.
