VirTra Announces Eleven Simulator Sales Across South America and Mexico

TEMPE, AZ--(Marketwire - December 20, 2010) - Don Andrus, VirTra Systems' President and COO (PINKSHEETS: VTSI), today announced the sale of eleven advanced firearm training systems to various locations throughout South America and Mexico.

VirTra offers a full line of the very best judgmental-use-of-force training simulators along with full marksmanship capability. VirTra is the industry leader, from highly portable single-screen simulators all the way up to the world's most challenging and advanced use-of-force simulator in the world -- the VirTra 300 LE. VirTra customers enjoy the only upgrade path in the market; they can upgrade from 1 screen to 3, or 5 screens (300 degrees) as their future budgets permit.

In the top-of-the-line 300-degree wraparound simulator, police can train for the most difficult real-world situations, such as ambushes and maintaining situational awareness during extreme stress; the complete use-of-force continuum is available for simulator use. VirTra's police training simulators dominate the industry in decision making simulation for high risk situations -- no other company provides such authentic and demanding scenario-based firearms training. The more realistic the training, the better law enforcement professionals are prepared to deal with life-or-death situations.

All eleven judgmental-use-of-force-simulators include real-world, multiple-branching video scenarios, as well as the ability to train against multiple threats on multiple screens, thereby training situational awareness and marksmanship under duress. All systems were delivered with the patent pending Threat-Fire™ return fire stimulator, which simulates return fire via electrical shock, further enhancing realism during training. Instructor picture-in-picture was equipped along with VirTra's unparalleled tetherless recoil handguns, which use no live rounds of ammunition but provide powerful recoil through refillable gas. The orders also included extra refillable magazines and a refill station.

"This surge in global simulator sales is not only indicative of VirTra's superior product line and satisfied customers, but also confirms that VirTra's growing international sales initiatives are operating on all cylinders," said Don Andrus, President and COO of VirTra Systems.
