Visa Celebrates 10 Years of Sponsoring the Toronto International Film Festival™

Visa® cardholders can access coveted tickets, world premiere films and the Visa Premiere Lounge

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 20, 2007) - When the 32nd Toronto International Film Festival launches this September, filmmakers and stars won't be the only ones celebrating. Visa, an official sponsor and exclusive credit card of the Festival, will commemorate its 10th anniversary as a sponsor of this world-renowned film event. This sponsorship not only allows Visa to support the arts, entertainment and culture in Toronto, but also offers Visa cardholders the opportunity to receive exclusive privileges, including access to the Visa Screening Room and Visa Premiere Lounge.

The Visa Screening Room showcases some of the Festival's most anticipated world premieres and is one of the Festival's biggest draws. Located in the historic Elgin Theatre, the Visa Screening Room has premiered buzz-worthy films such as Brokeback Mountain, Capote, Life is Beautiful, and Crash. Last year's line-up included Oscar-winning films The Last King of Scotland and Pan's Labyrinth. The exciting 2007 film list will be revealed on August 22.

Visa Gold and Visa Platinum cardholders can gain entry into the Visa Premiere Lounge, located at the Visa Screening Room. Premiere Lounge guests can enjoy refreshments and complimentary movie snacks, and enter the Visa Screening Room prior to other ticket holders.

"In our 10th year of sponsoring the Toronto International Film Festival, Visa continues to offer movie fans exclusive privileges, including advance purchase opportunities and access to some of the most anticipated premieres at the Visa Screening Room," said Brenda Woods, Vice President, Marketing, Visa. "Many of the films screened at this beautiful venue have gone on to achieve critical and audience acclaim and we are excited that Visa cardholders are among the first to see them."

The 32nd Toronto International Film Festival takes place from September 6 to 15, 2007. Visa cardholders can purchase tickets by calling the Festival ticket line at (416) 968-FILM (3456) or by visiting the Festival's official website at Gala and Visa Screening Room tickets can be purchased by the general public August 25.
