Filmgoers can purchase advance tickets when they use their Visa card

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 9, 2007) - When the curtain rises at the 32nd Toronto International Film Festival this September, Visa cardholders will be among the first to see the most anticipated movies and hottest stars. As the exclusive credit card of the Toronto International Film Festival, Visa is thrilled to offer Visa cardholders the opportunity to purchase coveted passes and packages from July 9 to 15 - one week before they go on sale to the general public.

"Visa is delighted to offer cardholders exclusive benefits to one of the most important film festivals in the world," said Brenda Woods, Vice President, Marketing, Visa Canada. "And as a committed supporter of arts, culture and tourism, Visa is excited to continue our support of the Toronto International Film Festival as an official, year-round sponsor."

One of the Festival's exciting offers is the Visa Screening Room Package, which guarantees cardholders access to eight of the most buzz-worthy premieres.

Last year, Visa cardholders were among the first to see such acclaimed films as The Last King of Scotland, Stranger than Fiction, and Away from Her. In previous years, the Visa Screening Room has premiered Brokeback Mountain, Capote, Crash, and Life is Beautiful. The exciting line-up for 2007 will be unveiled throughout the summer.

Visa cardholders can purchase advance tickets by calling the Festival ticket line at (416) 968-FILM (3456) or by visiting the Festival's official website at www.tiff07.ca. The 32nd Toronto International Film Festival takes place from September 6 to 15, 2007.

Visa has been a sponsor of the Toronto International Film Festival since 1997 and an official year-round sponsor since 2005.
