Visalia Marriott at the Convention Center Welcomes New Owner, $5 Million in Renovations

VISALIA, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 25, 2015) -  The Visalia council and community recently voiced its overwhelming support of the Visalia Marriott at the Convention Center with a 5-0 city council vote granting the upscale property exclusive catering rights to the ballroom at the adjacent Visalia Convention Center.

The council also unanimously approved a new ownership agreement that moves control of the Visalia Marriott at the Convention Center to the Welcome Group, Inc., which committed $5 million in forthcoming renovations to the premier 195-room lodging near Sequoia National Park.
