Precise Geo-Location Capabilities Empower Marketers as Mobility Uncovers New Actionable Social Media Data

These geo-location capabilities give marketers the power to pinpoint specific locations of consumer social media posts anywhere in the world. Visible's advanced location filtering and expanded language search helps brands create and implement dynamic strategies to engage with consumers in specific geographic regions.

Demand for geo-location marketing is on the rise, driven by the ubiquity of mobile. Current projections estimate that "nearly 85 percent of US social media users access social sites via mobile devices" and "mobile ad spending in the US alone is expected to reach $40 billion by 2019," as reported by Forrester Research, Inc. in the May 2014 Jitender Miglani blog post entitled "US Mobile Advertising Spending To Reach $40 Billion By 2019." Additional enhanced capabilities in the VI platform include "Sticky Dates" which allow users to quickly change time periods for social media measurement with one click, including the flexibility to override the entire dashboard using named campaign or calendar dates. The VI platform also now scales to support large exports of 10,000 to 20,000 sites or authors at a time for complimentary analysis that helps marketers calculate reach for larger sets of data.
