Visible Technologies® Helps Marketers Measure Effectiveness of Social Campaigns With Expanded Analytics for Customizable Reach Scores and Deeper Segmentation and Analysis

New Edition of Visible Intelligence™ Platform Unleashes Power of Data-Centric Approach for Optimizing Return on Social Media Investments

BELLEVUE, WA--(Marketwired - Jun 25, 2013) - Visible Technologies®, the leading provider of social media monitoring, analytics and engagement for enterprise business marketers and agencies, today announced it is unleashing more of the power in its award-winning Visible Intelligence™ (VI) platform, with the addition of customizable reach metrics and multi-dimensional segmentation graphs that help marketers measure the effectiveness of social campaigns, launches, and programs. In a world where marketers strive to link social media spend to results, these capabilities create a link between investments and business goals by gaining faster insight and providing guidance on where to modify program scope and spend or engage in important online conversations.

According to a 2012 report by Adobe, over half (52 percent) of marketers cited difficulties in accurately measuring ROI as their biggest source of frustration in social media marketing. Visible's deeper segmentation and reach assess messaging and social conversations with expanded analytics to identify top sites with large domains, view number of Twitter followers of post authors, and get a snapshot of key website metrics. Acknowledging that not all companies have the same understanding of reach, VI Platform is the only social media monitoring solution that allows marketers to determine what information or parameters are most important to their business and tailor reach scores accordingly.

These new capabilities help marketers obtain answers to their toughest social media questions, such as:

  • How can I provide meaningful data to marketing and sales when both departments measure the success of their social campaigns against a different set of reach metrics?
  • How do I evaluate the awareness of my brand against my competition as it relates to a specific topic? What are their brand loyalists saying that I can capitalize on and where are they saying it?
  • If my organization values a number of tweets in combination with site influence, how do I accurately determine my reach?

A summary of new features in the VI platform include:

  • Deeper Segmentation and Share of Voice View via Categories and Tags: Use categories to create standard data cuts (e.g. product attributes), which can be applied across brands or topics. Organize tags into folders for easier management based on points of interest. Once tags are created and placed, users can filter tags and categories to compare Share of Voice across searches. This data can then be placed on any Visible Intelligence dashboard for continuous updates.
  • Guided Navigation & Next Generation Search: Not sure how to find the posts that will answer your business questions? Start with the new streamlined search experience, which allows users to browse available data quickly, further segmenting the results based on what is coming-up in the data. Create and tweak search queries faster. The new Search Tab previews the available data results in real-time for the topic inquiry with easy filter options including sentiment, media type, location, author, influence and top sites.
  • Expanded Reach Score Analytics: Use expanded analytics such as site visitation and author follower measures to assess the more prominent posts with a reach score for the brands & topics of interest.
  • Conversation Filters: Organize and filter conversations by original post, retweet, reply, and mention. The filter supports additional analysis by creating a word cloud of retweets to leverage share of voice and see what topics are the most popular.
  • Automated Post Scheduling: Automate outbound messages to stay in regular communication with customers and maintain social media. Selected administrators can edit or delete pending Tweets and posts for quick reaction to real-time events.

"This release taps into the goldmine of information in our platform to help marketers boost brand awareness, streamline marketing workflow and uncover insights that provide return on social investments," said Richard Pasewark, CEO of Visible. "At Visible, we understand that every customer has a different set of expectations for social media and we continue to drive results with the scope of capabilities in our VI Platform."
