Vision Industries Corp.'s Zero Emission Tyrano™ Truck Completes Second Stage of Performance Testing

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - April 15, 2009) - Vision Industries Corp. (OTCBB: VIIC) is pleased to announce that its prototype zero emission plug-in electric/hydrogen fuel cell Tyrano™ truck completed the second stage of performance testing at the L.A. Freightliner facilities in Whittier, CA. Please view a video of the latest Tyrano™ test drive at

Lawrence Weisdorn, COO of Vision, stated, "The second stage testing consisted of payload and speed evaluations. We are very pleased to confirm that our drive train is more powerful than required for the full class 8 heavy duty truck rating for an 80,000 lbs GVW. Our engineers also determined that we will have to electronically limit the engine torque to 1,800 foot pounds and to govern the top speed at 70 MPH. We are very excited about the results to date, and our performance testing will now continue with range and fuel efficiency evaluations."
