Visionstate Inc.: Interactive Customer Care Technology Goes Bilingual

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 24, 2011) - Visionstate Inc., a division of CSM Systems Corp. (TSX VENTURE:CKX), is pleased to announce the launch of its first bilingual interactive customer service unit at Mail Champlain in Brossard, Quebec.

ViCCi, as it's commonly known, is an interactive wayfinding and customer service application developed by Visionstate and installed in shopping centers across Canada. Millions of shoppers have interacted with ViCCi since its first launch at Southgate Centre in Edmonton, Alberta in October 2005.

The launch of ViCCi in Quebec marks the first time the product has been installed in a bilingual setting. Upon approaching ViCCi, which uses state-of-the-art optical touch technology on a 46 inch LCD screen, shoppers can select their preferred language in either French or English.

"The launch of ViCCi in Quebec is significant for Visionstate," says company CEO, John Putters. "It now provides us with a platform to develop other bilingual and multilingual applications in Canada or in other parts of the world."

ViCCi, which is an acronym for virtual customer care interface, has set a new standard for directories in shopping centres, enabling customers to search for products, brands, stores and specials, all at the touch of a button. With 3D maps and footprints leading to their destinations, shoppers find ViCCi easy to use and extremely efficient to use.

"With ViCCi now being bilingual, it opens new potential customers for Visionstate," Putters continued. "Any large public space that caters to a multicultural clientele can now install our product and be able to serve the needs of all their customers or visitors."

ViCCi is currently installed in shopping centres across Canada, from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Nanaimo, BC. Visionstate is an Edmonton-based technology company that develops interactive customer care applications both on mobile phones and in fixed locations, including shopping centres, schools, and recreation centres.
