VisionTV Invites Viewers to "Share a Vision of Christmas"

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 29, 2007) - VisionTV, Canada's multi-faith and multicultural television network, is once again inviting viewers to share their favourite holiday moments.

The "Share a Vision of Christmas" promotion, at, offers Canadians the opportunity to write in with holiday recollections that capture the spirit of the season, and to send Christmas photos and videos.

Viewers who submit entries will be eligible to win a high-definition mini-DV camcorder. Selected entries will also be posted on the site.

The contest is a reprise of last year's successful Web-based holiday promotion, with the same focus on user-generated content. VisionTV's 2006 Christmas contest generated nearly 3,000 entries from across the country.

The "Share a Vision of Christmas" contest will serve as a vehicle to promote the network's extensive lineup of holiday-themed movies and music, scheduled to run from Dec. 17 through Christmas Day.

VisionTV's holiday programming highlights include premiere presentations like the concert special Tell it on the Mountain, along with viewer favourites such as The Barra MacNeils' Celtic Christmas and the 1984 screen adaptation of A Christmas Carol starring Hollywood great George C. Scott.
