Visiphor Wins $320,000 Contract for Justice Integration Project Using BIE Software

VANCOUVER, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 6, 2006 -- Visiphor Corporation ("Visiphor" or "the company") (OTC BB: VISRF) (TSX-V: VIS) (DE: IGYA) announces that it has been contracted to supply its core data integration software platform -- the Briyante Integration Environment ("BIE") -- as part of a law enforcement and justice integration project in the United States. At the request of the customer and Visiphor's business partner in the project, the name of the customer and location details of the project are not being revealed for security reasons.

For the project, Visiphor will provide BIE server platforms, client licenses, a sophisticated alerts module, and associated professional services for project management, training and annual support. The Visiphor platform will enable secure and scalable connectivity to Police Record Management ("RMS") systems, and will also feed a highly advanced crime analysis application. The contract value to Visiphor is approximately US$320,000.

The project will connect disparate data located in police, court and jail information systems using a standards-based, non-intrusive approach that allows for easy growth and future system modifications. The result will be improved access to justice information, streamlined workflows, business process integration, and elimination of redundant data entry into multiple systems.

"The awarding of this contract demonstrates that Visiphor's integration technology is flexible enough to work with highly evolved, third-party crime analytics applications," said Visiphor President and CEO Roy Trivett. "This powerful combination of disparate RMS integration, information sharing, and improved access to law enforcement intelligence represents the next evolution in justice information systems and regional law enforcement collaboration."

Visiphor Chairman Oliver "Buck" Revell added, "This is yet another example of how Visiphor's data sharing technology rapidly facilitates improvements in the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies."

The integration project will begin within the next four weeks.
