Visit TTC Exhibit at People In Motion 2006

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - June 1, 2006) - The TTC will display a low-floor accessible bus and a Wheel-Trans vehicle at People in Motion 2006, Canada's largest Exhibition for people with Disabilities on June 2nd and June 3rd. TTC staff along with members of the TTC's Advisory Committee on Accessible Transit (ACAT) will be available to answer questions and provide information on both the TTC conventional system and Wheel-Trans service.

The TTC will be one of more than 120 exhibits at the 2006 People in Motion show at The Queen Elizabeth Building, Exhibition Place.

"Each year, the TTC becomes more accessible with the addition of elevators at subway stations and the arrival of more low-floor buses," says TTC Chair Howard Moscoe. "The People in Motion Show is a great venue for people with disabilities to learn more about the conventional TTC system."
