Vista Awarded Contract for North Peace Energy Project

Calgary Engineering Firm to Provide Engineering Services for Red Earth Project

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 11, 2009) - Calgary-based engineering firm, Vista Projects Limited, announced today that it has been awarded the contract to provide advanced engineering work on North Peace Energy Corp's (North Peace Energy) Red Earth thermal 3,000 bbl/d expansion project.

The Cyclic Steam Stimulation (CSS) project will demonstrate a practical, environmentally conscious and advantageous method of producing cost-effective amounts of bitumen. The goal of the project is to validate the economic and technical parameters of future commercial development. North Peace Energy plans to exploit its heavy oil leases in Northern Alberta by applying CSS and leveraging its business and technical acumen.
