Vista Projects Raises Money to Build Three Libraries in Nepal

EP Company's Golf Tournament Brings Together Oil and Gas Professionals for a Great Cause

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 15, 2011) - Vista Projects Limited (Vista), a Calgary-based multi-discipline technical engineering firm, raised over $15,000 through a charity golf tournament in support of Room to Read, a not-for-profit organization committed to ending illiteracy in impoverished countries.

The event, held on July 28th, brought together 72 of Alberta's oil and gas industry professionals at Valley Ridge Golf Course to make change in the lives of disadvantaged communities through friendly competition and fun.

"Our initial goal was to raise $10,000 to build two libraries in an impoverished community in Nepal," says Richard Campbell, Vista's Managing Principal. "But our event was so successful that we were able to fund the building of three libraries."

"I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all those who participated in the tournament. Through this effort, thousands of children now have the resources and opportunity to pursue a quality education, which is integral to ending poverty."

Through its Vista Cares program, the company supports a number of community and international initiatives each year.
