Vistaar to Host Executive Breakfast Featuring GE Energy Management During the Professional Pricing Society Fall 2013 Conference

Vistaar's Senior Vice President of Product Management, Usha Iyer, Will Also Lead a Conference Breakout Session on Driving a Successful B2B Pricing Initiative

PARSIPPANY, NJ--(Marketwired - Oct 9, 2013) -  Vistaar Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of price management solutions, today announced that the company will host an informational breakfast for attendees of the Professional Pricing Society's (PPS) 24th Annual Fall Pricing Workshops and Conference. In addition, the company's senior vice president of product management, Usha Iyer, will share her B2B pricing expertise during a conference breakout session at the event. Vistaar will also demonstrate its price management technology at booth 15 throughout the conference, which will be held Oct. 22-25, 2013, at the Loews Hotel in Atlanta.

On Wednesday, Oct. 23, Vistaar will host a breakfast open to all attendees, featuring a presentation from Chris Brown, growth and strategy leader, and Steven Goldstein, pricing leader, both with GE Energy Management, an $8B business unit of GE. The pair will discuss the organization's multi-year path to next-generation pricing, including key lessons learned and the value delivered along the journey through both pricing process improvement and software tools.

During the conference breakout sessions, Iyer will lead "Driving a Successful B2B Pricing Initiative: Coordinating People, Processes, and Systems." The presentation will focus on the importance of pricing excellence as a component of business strategy in enterprises striving for differentiation, competitive advantage, growth, profits and market share. Iyer will address the factors that make pricing initiatives vital to B2B organizations, yet so challenging, and will examine the key attributes of successful pricing initiatives.
