VisualMED Aims for 5% of the Oncology EMR Market

Company Launches Marketing Drive in the US for VisualONCOLOGY

MONTREAL--(Marketwire - August 16, 2007) - VisualMED Clinical Solutions Corp. (The "Company") (OTCBB: VMCS) (FRANKFURT: VA6) announces that it has begun a comprehensive sales effort, targeting some of the United States' major cancer centers, with its flagship oncology module currently being implemented in Montreal, as recently reported.

Although it is not clear how many institutions or clinics handle cancer patients in the US, data show that there may be as many as 2000 such locations. It is estimated that about 20% of America's 5000 hospitals support an oncology practice, and another 500 private clinics have a day center for treating cancer patients. The Company estimates that about 800 sites represent potential client installations in the intermediate term and believes it can win a 5% market share over the next 30 months in this niche.

"Our VisualONCOLOGY application has the richest suite of decision support specific to oncology practice, and this is seamlessly combined with our own interactive paper-free patient care documentation," says VisualMED CEO Gerard Dab. "A 5% market share represents about 40 intermediate to large-size oncology practices. We expect average sales prices to range from $250,000 to $1 million with a 20% annual maintenance fee. Revenue would depend on implementation time which typically ranges from 4 to 9 months. We therefore expect sites should each generate between $25,000 and $200,000 USD per year in recurring systems maintenance revenue."

Larger implementations within the Oncology departments of major healthcare institutions could be expected to follow with slightly longer implementation timeframes, but with much larger revenue generation over the long-term. In fact, in the few weeks following the start of its flagship oncology implementation, VisualMED has entered into preliminary discussions with 2 additional oncology day hospitals and 1 oncology clinic.

The demographic shift to an older population plus the availability of more effective therapy explains why oncology is one of the fastest growing medico-surgical specialties. As oncology practice becomes more complex, the perceived -- as well as real -- need for systems like VisualMED will become part of the public's expectations for evidence-based safe practice.
