Viterra Partners With CFL Hall of Famer Don Narcisse to Promote Healthy Lifestyles


REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwire - April 5, 2011) - Viterra Inc. (TSX:VT) (ASX:VTA) is pleased to announce it is teaming up with former Saskatchewan Roughrider Don Narcisse to host a youth football camp in Regina at Mosaic Stadium on May 7, 2011.

Viterra will act as the presenting sponsor of the Don Narcisse All Star Event, which supports KidSport™, a children's charity that assists children from families facing financial obstacles to become involved in community sports programs. Through an online contest, Viterra will also offer opportunities for youth requiring financial assistance from across the Province to participate in the camp all expenses paid.

The camp is for children ages 8 to 18, and will teach football fundamentals and provide position specific training. Mr. Narcisse has recruited several past and present CFL players to assist in facilitating the clinic, including Henry Burris, Kerry Joseph, Larry Thompson and Henry "Gizmo" Williams. The day will conclude with the "End Zone Experience" Gala Dinner at the Delta Hotel, with a keynote address by Georgette Reed, Olympian and Canadian track champion, and daughter of CFL Hall of Famer George Reed.
