Viterra Receives Overwhelming Shareholder Approval for Purchase of Lethbridge Inland Terminal Ltd.


REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwired - Jan. 20, 2014) - Viterra Inc. ("Viterra"), Canada's grain industry leader, is pleased to announce that shareholders of Lethbridge Inland Terminal Ltd. ("LIT") have overwhelmingly approved Viterra's offer to purchase certain assets of LIT, including a high throughput grain elevator with a capacity of 42,000 metric tonnes. The agreement was originally announced in a news release on December 28, 2013, and remains subject to certain closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
