Vitesse Introduces Industry's First Field-Proven, Turnkey Software for Carrier Ethernet Service Delivery

CEServices Software Paired With Vitesse Service Aware Architecture (ViSAA) Expedites OEM Time to Market by Nearly 70%

CAMARILLO, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 15, 2014) -  Vitesse Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: VTSS), a leading provider of advanced IC solutions for Carrier and Enterprise networks, introduced its CEServices™ software, a comprehensive, mature protocol stack for easier provisioning and management of Carrier Ethernet business services. To date, over 40 OEMs have licensed Vitesse's CEServices™ software, with several starting field trials with proven MEF CE 2.0 compliance in less than six months, versus 18 month cycles or more for typical solutions.

By 2017, analysts expect that bandwidth Ethernet business services will comprise over 75% of total bandwidth globally.
