Vivian Prokop Recognized Among Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100™

Women's Executive Network Honors CEO of Canadian Youth Business Foundation with Trailblazer and Trendsetter Award

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 29, 2010) - Today, the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) announced that chief executive officer, Vivian Prokop has been selected as a recipient 2010 Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100™ Awards, in the Trailblazers and Trendsetters category by the Women's Executive Network (WXN).

The Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards is our country's most recognizable award for the highest achieving female leaders in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. At a gala celebration this evening at Toronto's Allstream Centre, Vivian will join a community of 522 women from across Canada who have previously received this recognition.

Ms. Prokop is widely considered a global expert on issues of youth entrepreneurship. Under her leadership, CYBF has spearheaded many international initiatives including the inaugural G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit, which resulted in the creation of the G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance, of which she is the Founding Chair. Most recently, Ms. Prokop represented Canada at the APEC SME Summit in Yokohama, Japan. Additionally, Ms. Prokop is the Chair of Global Entrepreneurship Week Canada.
