Viyya Technologies Creates Strategic Marketing Alliance in Europe -- Sets Up a Reseller Organization

Viyya Technologies Europe to Be Managed by Former Fortune 500 Executives

FAIRFIELD, NJ--(Marketwire - February 7, 2008) - Viyya Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: VYON), the developer and marketer of the world's most advanced, web-based content aggregation application, announced the signing of a strategic marketing agreement to establish its reseller organization in Switzerland for the marketing and sale of Viyya applications throughout the European Union (EU).

The agreement stipulates for marketing and sales to begin in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where economies are strong, and Internet World Stats research shows Internet penetration at 348 million users for the EU, almost 50% larger than penetration in North America. Additional research has shown Fortune 500 businesses and ISPs have the need for the power of the Viyya core technology -- the aggregation and management of structured and unstructured information. In a second phase of the plan, the marketing and sales would be initiated in the UK, the Netherlands, and the Scandinavian countries, all of which have economies that are booming and data management requirements with the need for entree into 21st Century Web 2.0 collaboration technology that is significantly in demand.

Viyya Technologies Europe will be headed by Dietmar Haas, as CEO. Mr. Haas has a degree in Computer Science and since 1980 has held leading management positions with full P & L responsibility. Mr. Haas has been CIO for Hewlett-Packard, CEO of a large International Consulting Company, CIO of a large industrial company, and CEO of an Information Management Company for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Mr. Haas brings to the organization extensive experience navigating in national and international environments and in the development and execution of rapid growth strategies for revenues and profitability. Mr. Haas also brings a premier management team who have been executives with strong sales and client relationship skills and Fortune 500 contacts derived from their former employment with IBM, Oracle, Filenet, and Genesys.

Mr. Haas has been working with Viyya executive management for several months to reach this point, having done extensive research in the B2B, B2C and ISP markets. The European markets have consistently led the world in wireless data applications and technology. Data solutions in wireless now account for almost 15% of all revenue generated by wireless carriers. The VIYYA™ platform, with its capabilities to embrace the "Triple Play" (broadband, wireless and VOIP) is the perfect solution for European ISPs.

"This is an incredible opportunity," Mr. Haas stated, "to establish a foothold in Europe with a world class technology platform such as VIYYA. We would anticipate revenues well into the 7 figure range within the first 24 months of operations."

John Bay, president and CEO of Viyya, said, "It's obvious to us that we will be entering a market in countries where the economy is strong and is projected to be growing faster than the U.S. economy. We see application for the VIYYA product and for the VIYYA Information Portal which will establish levels of information dissemination, collaboration and emergency alert capabilities second to none."
