Viyya Technologies and WISE Learning Solutions: Delivering a One-Two Punch for the Security Industry

WEST CALDWELL, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 2, 2005 -- Viyya Technologies, Inc. (OTC: VYON), announced today that in conjunction with its subsidiary, WISE Learning Solutions, Inc. (WISE), it will deliver products and platforms designed specifically for the security industry.

Viyya designs software that provides business professionals and consumers with web-based tools that simplify how one manages all forms of digital information. According to John Bay, CEO of Viyya, "As a company, we realized that in providing our customers with software solutions for managing digital content, these same customers were looking for information that could assist them in reducing computer security risks. We knew that WISE, with its outstanding leadership in Tom Welch and industry-recognized security solutions, would augment Viyya's ability to solve these market challenges."

"The market is in desperate need of a product capable of providing customized information on security threats and vulnerabilities to protect critical computing assets," said Welch. "Today's government and multinational corporations are forced to react to security threats after the fact. Our platform will empower corporate security organizations to proactively manage the risks associated with the security environment."

The "Security Portal" will be released at the upcoming Techno-Security Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC, and will be marketed alongside WISE's innovative e-Learning Solutions for corporations and government.

The Web-based Information Security Education (WISE) product line series is a set of e-Learning solutions that focus on a variety of security issues. The company's two flagship products, Information Security Awareness and Information Security Management, have been on the market for nine months and were created to fill a void for this type of training. Traditional classroom-based training simply is not scalable and is logistically difficult to implement. Regulatory compliance initiatives, such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Gramm-Leech-Bliley (GLB), Sarbanes-Oxley, North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC) and others, all require an education component to organizational security programs.

Technical safeguards and security countermeasures simply are not enough by themselves. Organizations need to look at the weakest link in their security program: their employees. The WISE Information Security Awareness program educates system users on the value of corporate assets, acceptable use of the Internet, how to handle e-mail attachments and forty-four others topics related to safe computing. This training program is currently available in five languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese, with additional languages slated for release later this year.

"With recent advances in technology, including broadband connectivity and faster process power, e-Learning has found its place in the education arena. WISE is a true learning experience that incorporates text, voice, video, animation, simulation, interactive sessions and testing," added Welch.

The benefits of e-Learning are numerous with studies showing that e-Learning, using multimedia technologies, provides increased retention rates of 30 percent over traditional training methods, as well as a reduction in training time and overall training costs.

Privacy Awareness and Physical Security courses are slated for release in 2Q05 with a Counter Terrorism course to be released in 3Q05.
